Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Interface

For those physician offices utilizing an Electronic Medical Records EMR) system, the Rabkin Dermatopathology HL-7 formatted EMR interface allows the referring physician office to automate specimen requisition ordering and results. This process saves staff time and effort, while providing the security of SFTP data transfer, encryption, and password protection. Our system enables each physician’s office to import information from the physician’s medical records system and complete specimen requisition orders online. A corresponding pre-populated self-adhesive bottle label will print along with the requisition. If needed, the labels can be regenerated by the physician’s staff. Rabkin Lab also offers the preference and flexibility of generating requisitions via interface or pre-printed (hard-copy) requisitions and receiving pathology results through EMR, fax or hard copy (mailed).
